Starting at the Railroad Ditch entrance we start our journey. Driving along Railroad Ditch we will stop at the Underground Railroad Pavilion, learn how this vast area was a stepping stone to freedom. As we continue on, we will make stops & walk a freshwater marsh, see how natures powerful forces can change an environment. The wildlife, from the black bear to the many species of bird and reptiles, is in abundance. Learn about the habit, wildlife, and many edible & medicinal plants.
